Comment: Liberty Writers Africa’s Post on Jesus Christ and Africa

UN0209663_0.jpg

This post is my comment on Liberty Writers Africa‘s post on Jesus Christ and Africa and though it is to an extent differing with the writer’s perspective of what each of us must expect from God, I have absolute love and respect for my fellow sisters and brothers from Africa and will hope to, one day, contribute sincerely to them in whatever way possible. May these words just be a directive as to how we all can start off by doing our little bit for the entire world and not just help those who can help us in return. Like it is mentioned by Ra’as al Ghul in the film ‘Batman Begins’, all that matters is ‘our will to act’ and that indeed can make a whole lot of difference in the way the world functions especially when considered seriously by many of us.

All the other comments have added a distinguishing point to make the writer of this post understand the composite ground reality of what he/she is talking about and I especially liked the comment by Mainza Mabuti.

Well, I too had very little to absolutely no faith in these lines at a point when I was struck by personal calamity but it is through such a tough experience that, I believe, I reached to a point where my faith has become, is and will continue be undeterred till my last breath. And the biggest lesson I learned is that ‘God helps those who helps themselves’. Why? That is because you are searching for God so that he can provide for what you are expecting when in true perspective, he has already given all of us what we need to battle it out. It’s just that we need to be willing to go out of our comfort zones to achieve freedom or whatever goal we have in mind. To be very frank, even evil is achieved that way though not with God’s assistance but His adversary’s. Also though God’s laws will favor those who love and fight for the truth, His adversary can misuse it to propagate evil on earth and ultimately, nothing can be blamed on God because we have the power, both to do works and to prevent it from happening if it is wrong, irrespective of who does it. We are just not willing to go out of our safe circles and that pretty much sums up why the world is never improvising, at least in a moral standpoint. God, most certainly, is a much more stable entity to trust in than any human being because even your closest accomplice can betray you, at a crucial moment especially, but not God. You will see Him supporting you in miraculous ways while battling it out, I can guarantee – largely out of personal experience. The coins will move in a way against how all forces of nature have defined it, because ultimately there’s always more for us to observe and come to a conclusion to, and at the end of the day you will be astonished. I leave you and the other readers with a few verses that are defining and believe me you don’t have to be a Christian to love and admire Christ’s wisdom. You just have to be a person who loves God and knows that ONE CREATOR exists and is willing to aid us all through different means, Christ being one.

The most important takeaway should be that each of us are priests ourselves in the eyes of God, as carriers of truth, love, peace, suffering and many other divinely characteristics, and have to respect ourselves in the same way in order to be respected by God and in turn by our fellow human beings, the latter of which is immaterial, irrelevant and doesn’t add any value to the whole equation.

Christ’s wisdom is unparalleled for one person, hands down. No mortal human being can cook up a story with such aspects and attribute it to someone else because it wouldn’t be befitting of history for such a thing to happen. Jesus Christ can truly change your life, as he has mine.

A definitive teaching of Jesus Christ – “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, … but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven …”

The question now is, are we willing to be like the courageous folk of the Bible, like King David, Daniel, Joshua, Moses, Elijah and many others who on one hand did their earthly duty, which pleased God, and at the same time understood that none of that would have been possible without the wisdom, circumstance, aid, human intervention through divine command, laws and many other factors that played a crucial role, which no human can all of a sudden provide for.

Let us start taking the ultimate steps that make earth as good as Heaven and not attribute the Bible or any source for that matter, unless it is truly God’s will, in leaving the earth as such and even worse by allowing it to go about it’s corrupt ways. Let us hope for this to just be the beginning.

A fair share of this comment that was posted on the other writer’s page has been edited and appended with content before it was posted here and that has primarily been done in order to convey a bigger picture of the idea that was intended to be presented through that comment. It also appears that the other writer has not yet approved the comment as part of the moderation process so this post is the only source of the idea, at least for now.
